COUNTRY FRENCH CARVED OAK DINNING SET, 6 RUSH CHAIRS

Casual yet elegant Provincial or Country French design distinguishes this dining set. It was made of hand carved oak and dates from about 1900. The table has 2 solid pull-out or draw leaves, the six identical chairs have removable rush seats. The warm deep brown finish is in excellent condition, and is original everywhere except the table top. Chairs are nicely curved, comfortable and sturdy, and measure 18" wide, 17" deep and 41" tall. Table dimensions are 30 1/2" tall, 39" wide, and 47" long when closed, with both leaves extended, length is 7'4." This is a compact and charming set of genuine antique dining furniture.
